How to Help a User Change their Email Address

 

This article will show you how to walk a user through changing their email address

  1. Login to the membership site and click on the "FAQ" button under the "Members" tab.

             2. Clicking on the "FAQ" button will redirect you to the "FAQ" page where you will see a question "Can I change my email to a different email?". Click on the question to see its answer. In the answer screen shown, click on the "CLICK HERE" button, as shown in the image below.

3. Clicking on the "CLICK HERE" button will take you to the page where you will see your current email along with the option to update your email address.

In the image below, you can see the current email address of the user and two boxes where he/she is required to enter their new email address. We have kept two boxes for users to double verify before updating their email ID.

4.  After entering the new email address in both the boxes, a user needs to click on "Change Email" button to update his email in our database.
