How to Reset Lost or Forgotten User Passwords

This Article explains how a user can retrieve their existing password or reset a forgotten password

There are 2 ways in which a user can reset their password:

Option #1: If the user is unable to log in because they forgot their password: From the LOGIN PAGE click "Send Me My Password"

Option #2: If the user is logged in to the site and wants to change their password: Go to the "Change Password" page which can be accessed from the MEMBERS Menu

Instructions for both are below.

Option #1: From the Login Page - "Forgot Password"

Click on "Log In", as shown in the image below

2. Now Click on "Send Me My Password"

3. Enter the users registered Username or E-mail in the space provided and then click on "Get New Password" as shown in the image below

4. Have the user check their e-mail inbox or spam folder. They will receive an e-mail with a link to reset their password. Open the e-mail and click on the link provided to reset the password. Type a new password into the field where it says "Please enter your new password here" and then click on Reset Password.

5. Now the user will be redirected to the login page. The user will enter their username and the new password and then click on "Sign In"

Option #2: Change Password page accessed via the MEMBERS Menu

While the user is logged into the site, navigate to the MEMBERS Menu; Choose "Change Password"

2. Enter new password; click on "Change Password"
