The Complete Graphics Package

Each site needs its own set of graphics. The right images capture the attention of those who see them and communicate the right message.

Let’s shape the visual aspects of your website, membership, or course by identifying:

  • The types of graphics needed for your course

  • What we call those graphics (it might seem silly but trust us, if everyone uses the same words for the same graphic, it cuts down on miscommunications)

  • Where they are used

  • The dimensions of each image

  • File format the graphic should be provided as (.JPEG, etc.)

Let's start with an overview. Here are all the graphics we need for your site and course:

Now that you know all the graphics that we need for your course. Let's dive into the specifics of each one, starting with the Course Image.

Course Image (also called the Product Image):

  • The COURSE IMAGE  is the graphic that is displayed on your website representing the course. It typically has the course name and an image that in some way represents the content the course will cover.

  • Your site will typically have a COURSE IMAGE for all of the courses that are live on your site AND all of the courses you plan to create. The courses that are not yet released should have a "Coming Soon" overlay so that people can start to get excited about the courses you haven't created but plan to.

  • The COURSE IMAGE lives on your home page and is also on the course description page.

  • Product Image graphics should be 300x400 pixels and provided as a JPEG

The three images in the red box below are Course or Product Images.

Course Digital badge:

  • A COURSE DIGITAL BADGE will always be sent to the user when they pass all lessons of a course

  • COURSE DIGITAL BADGE graphics should be 500x500 pixels and provided as a JPEG with transparent background

Course Achievements (also called Achievement Badges):

  • The COURSE ACHIEVEMENT BADGES are user attainments which will be achieved whenever a user passes a particular course lesson.

  • They are displayed when someone successfully passes the quiz at the end of the lesson and are presented on the right-hand sidebar. They can also be found on a member's Achievements page.

  • ACHIEVEMENT BADGE graphics should be 300x300 pixels and provided as a JPEG with transparent background

Course certificate:

  • The COURSE CERTIFICATE is given to a student when they have passed all lessons, assignments, quizzes, and the final exam. This shows that they have successfully completed the course.

  • Upon earning their COURSE CERTIFICATE, the student will be able to download a copy of the certificate that shows their name and the date they completed the course or earned their certification.

  • COURSE CERTIFICATE graphics should be at least 300dpi and are typically printed on 8.5 x 11" paper and provided as a PSD or PSB file

Course Email Header:

  • The COURSE EMAIL HEADER is added to InfusionSoft and sent out with every course email. Once a given student is taking multiple courses, this helps them distinguish emails that might be coming from the same academy but for different courses.

  • COURSE EMAIL HEADER graphics should be 960x200 pixels and provided as a JPEG

Text Based Program Logo (also called Text Based Site Logo):

  • The TEXT BASED PROGRAM LOGO is the logo that sits at the top left-hand corner of your site. You can have a logo per program or course or a logo for your Institute, Academy, or University. It is your choice.

  • This logo is typically consistent through all pages of your course or site assuring customers that they haven't been directed away from your site.

  • TEXT BASED LOGO PROGRAM graphics should be 1000x400 pixels and provided as a JPEG
