How to Reset a Quiz - Quiz Limit Override

From time to time your students/members may take a quiz repeatedly and fail, landing them stuck and in need of a quiz reset.

In the event that a student gets stuck, we have created the Quiz Limit Override page so that you can reset or override the quiz limit on your own. This allows your Customer Support team to trouble shoot issues without reaching out to us.

Note: You might want to keep stats on which quizzes you are overriding. Resets/overrides should be occasional events. If you find yourself resetting the same quiz over and over again, there are likely unclear or inaccurate questions or set of questions causing confusion for your customers.

Below are instructions for using the Quiz Limit Override feature.

1) Open Site URL, click on "Log In" and use your Admin Credentials to login

2) You will be redirected to the page shown below. Remove the slug (the part of the URL that comes after the TLD or top level domain which is the .com or .edu. In this case it is ".com").

For this example, we will be removing "/wp-admin/" as shown below. This will take you to your Admin home page.

Now your page will look like this:

3) Now hover over MEMBERS tab to reveal the drop down list. In that list, you will select “Owner Administration > Override Quiz – add attempts”

4) When you get to the "Override Quiz – add attempt"s page, follow the instruction and enter the email of the stuck user.

After entering the users email ID, please click on "Get Courses"

5) Select the course name your user is stuck on:

6) Now you will be redirected to another window where you will need to click RESET on the quiz the user is stuck on

Once you click on the RESET button the user can log back into their site and retake the quiz.
