How can I review data on student progress within a course?

 

Access your ProPanel data to view an overview of students within a course, view a progress chart, download reports, and view the latest activity on your site.

If you have students enrolled in a course(s) within your site, then you have access to ProPanel data to help support, motivate, and optimize the learning outcomes of your students. 

Speaking of “data”, let’s discuss the reporting metrics you have available…

1. First, Log in to your site as Site Admin using your Site Admin credentials found in your Site Logic document.

2. Select ProPanel Reporting under the Members Tab 

3. Analyze the data, along your client acquisition pathway, so that you understand where you can make incremental improvements. 

Here are the 4 reporting features:

  • Overview

    • Provides a visual snapshot of data for Total Students, Number of Courses, Assignments Pending, and Essays Pending


  • You may click on any of the 4 categories to be taken to a page providing more details about the specific category. For ex. if you click on COURSES you will be taken to a page that details the courses on your site.

  • Reporting

    • This category provides detailed information on users and course data


  • You may look up a specific user's data, or the data for a specific course

  • You may also choose to email a user or a specific group of users. 

    • For ex. you may choose to email all users who have not finished a course and encourage them to complete the course. 

  • Once you have filtered the data you wish to view, you may choose to DOWNLOAD a copy as a CSV file 

  • Progress Chart

    • This allows you to see the progress of the students in your courses as: Not Started, In Progress, and Completed


  • If you place your mouse on a specific category (ie. In Progress), it will show the actual number of users/students in the course that are "In Progress". 

  • You can use the In Progress Breakdown tab to view a snapshot of where users are in a course. 

    • This is helpful because it gives you a frame of reference for the users who could benefit from an email that gently nudges them to work towards completion of their course (ie. users who have finished less than 20% of a course).

  • Activity 

    •  You can select a specific course or user from the Reports widget and the Activity stream will display the most recent activity for that particular course or user


  • Once you have filtered the specific user, quiz, or course data that you want to view, you may choose export the data.
