Quiz and Final Functionality

This article will walk you through some of the quiz interface options.

Quiz Question Types

Please write your lesson quizzes in a word document with each lesson clearly numbered and the correct answer provided. We will do ALL of the programming. Choose your different quiz question types to include in your quiz. The quizzes are made to be engaging and fairly simple. We don't want a lot of people failing and getting frustrated. Your questions should be clear and concise because you don't want to create customer service issues with users emailing you about the quizzes. 

If the quiz is multiple choice, then provide us with the question, the possible answers and the correct answer. Please follow the pattern of the quiz questions type. If you choose one question to be fill in the blank, word the question correctly and indicate where the blank should go and what  the ONE correct word should be for the answer.

Quiz Taking Restrictions

Quiz time limit:

Whenever a user is attempting a quiz, the system will run a timer. The time varies depending on the number of questions in the quiz.

Quiz attempts limit:

This option lets the user know how many times a quiz can be taken. Upon first attempt, if a user is unable to pass the quiz, you may indicate how many more times one would be allowed to re-take the quiz. 

Quiz passing percentage:

The system can define a passing percentage for the course, this usually lies between 70% to 75%.

This option displays the answers for all questions.

Quiz Leaderboard

This is used to display the users who passed the quiz with the best percentage.

Restart Quiz:

This will restart the quiz from the first question.

Achievement in popup:

Once a user passes each quiz, the system will show the achievement on a pop-up. This pop-up look like the following:

• Name of lesson / quiz completed

• Points awarded on completion of the quiz

• Achievement badge

Final Exam

Apart from all lessons and their quizzes, each course has a final exam at the end of the last lesson. The final exam has the same functionality as the quizzes.  On passing the final exam of that particular course, the user will be able to get the certification for passing that course.

This final exam always appears at the end of all the lessons.
